Zack Speer, LPC

Zack Speer, LPC, is a trained level 3 Radically Open DBT (RO DBT) clinician. He began his RO DBT training in 2019. Zack continues his training through regular supervision in RO DBT. Zack lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and young child.
Zack specializes in work with athletes and parent training. As a former college athlete, Zack uses the RO framework to positively impact the psychological aspects of athletics and mental sports training. Zack also enjoys working with older adult populations using RO as a tool to unwind behaviors that may no longer be effective in a client’s current place in life. Zack also works with couples and families experiencing issues in communication and general relationship problems and advises parents on behavioral interventions.
Zack was born and raised in Houston and graduated from Episcopal High School. Zack then graduated from Trinity University with a BA in psychology. Following his time at Trinity, Zack graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake with his MA in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
